The Reading conversion table is different for Academic and General Training — General Training passages are considered less complex, so more correct answers are needed for the same band. Writing and Speaking are assessed directly by examiners against official band descriptors, with no raw score involved.
Your Overall Band Score is the average of all four skills, rounded to the nearest whole or half band. If the average ends in .25, it rounds up to the next half band. If it ends in .75, it rounds up to the next whole band.
